ISO 45001 Certification,
A Safety System Your Crews Take Part In
We help contractors, manufacturers and logistics operators build an occupational health and safety management system that meets ISO 45001 — hazard identification that reflects the work as it is done, a legal compliance process that keeps pace with OSHA, and the worker consultation the standard requires and auditors test by talking to your people.

A Safety System That Reaches the Floor
What ISO 45001 requires
ISO 45001 is unusual among management system standards in that it will not certify a system built entirely by management. It requires consultation with non-managerial workers, and it requires you to remove the barriers that stop them taking part. Auditors interview crews directly. A well-written manual with no shop-floor involvement does not pass.
- Consultation and participation of non-managerial workers
- Hazard identification for routine and non-routine work
- Legal requirements and evaluation of compliance
- The hierarchy of controls, applied in order
- Incident investigation, root cause and corrective action
- Contractor coordination and procurement control
From hazard register to certification
We build the system from the work you actually do, including the parts that are hard to document — non-routine tasks, contractor interfaces, shift handovers. Then we prepare your supervisors and crews for the conversations an auditor will have with them, in their own words.
- Gap analysis against ISO 45001, mapped to existing safety procedures
- Hazard identification and risk assessment process
- Legal register and compliance evaluation against OSHA requirements
- Worker consultation and participation arrangements
- Support through Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification audits
Does ISO 45001 replace OSHA compliance?
No. OSHA obligations are federal law and certification changes none of them — ISO 45001 is a voluntary management system that sits on top of that legal floor. What it does is make compliance more systematic, because the standard requires you to identify applicable legal requirements and to evaluate your compliance with them on a planned basis rather than after an inspection. Most of our clients come to it because a principal contractor or a prequalification platform asks for it, and find the legal register is the part that earns its keep. The standard is also being revised, with a 2027 edition expected, so a system built now should be built with that in view. If you are weighing it up, we can work through that with you before any implementation begins.
